Individual Cookie Flow Pack
Single cookies are individually wrapped using roll film. The feeding and sealing configuration is matched to the cookie dimensions, shape and required pack size.
PACKAGING MACHINES
Packaging options
Compare packaging formats available for the selected product and line configuration.
Single cookies are individually wrapped using roll film. The feeding and sealing configuration is matched to the cookie dimensions, shape and required pack size.
Multiple cookies are aligned and grouped before flow wrapping. The feeding arrangement depends on cookie size, product fragility and the required quantity per pack.
Cookies are arranged in trays before entering the horizontal flow wrapper. Tray dimensions and feeding arrangements depend on the selected packaging configuration.
Finished cookie packs can be grouped and loaded into corrugated shipping cases using optional downstream case packing equipment.
Packaging process
Packaging stages depend on the product, pack format and selected line configuration.
Unwrapped cookies enter the packaging line through a feeding conveyor. The infeed arrangement depends on cookie dimensions, product shape, fragility and upstream production conditions.
Cookies are guided into the required position and spacing before wrapping. Conveyor guides and transfer timing are adjusted according to cookie dimensions and the selected feeding arrangement.
For multi-piece packs, cookies can be counted and arranged into groups. For tray-based packs, a separate tray-loading station may be added before wrapping. The arrangement depends on the selected packaging configuration.
Individual cookies or prepared groups enter the horizontal flow wrapping machine. Roll film forms around the products, and longitudinal and transverse heat seals complete the primary package.
Finished cookie packs can be transferred to optional downstream case packing equipment and arranged in corrugated shipping cases according to pack dimensions and the required case layout.
Steps marked optional depend on the actual project configuration.
Choosing a solution
Compare the key factors that affect equipment selection and line configuration.
Confirm the cookie shape, diameter, thickness, weight and fragility before selecting the feeding system. Chocolate chip, butter, sandwich and soft cookies may require different handling arrangements.
Review cookie alignment, spacing, transfer and grouping requirements. The feeding system should match product stability, surface texture and the selected packaging arrangement.
Define the required packaging format, cookies per pack, film specifications and target finished packs per minute to determine the suitable wrapping and downstream equipment configuration.
Our approach
How we review product handling, equipment configuration and packaging line requirements.
Review product size, shape and handling requirements before selecting the packaging equipment.
Compare feeding, alignment, grouping and conveyor connections based on your production layout.
Discuss primary packaging, product handling and downstream equipment options according to your project requirements.
Share product samples, pack dimensions, target output and available factory space to review suitable equipment configurations.
Common questions
Answers to common questions about product handling, packaging formats and line configuration.
Cookie packaging machines can handle chocolate chip cookies, butter cookies, sandwich cookies and other suitable baked products. The feeding and wrapping configuration depends on cookie diameter, thickness, shape, surface texture and product fragility. Different cookie types may require adjustments or dedicated feeding components.
Soft or fragile cookies require careful control of conveyor transfers, product alignment and spacing. The feeding system should minimize unnecessary drops, collisions and compression. Product samples and packaging trials help determine the suitable handling arrangement and assess possible breakage or deformation.
Cookies can be wrapped individually or arranged into groups using suitable feeding equipment. Tray-based packaging requires an additional tray-loading arrangement before horizontal flow wrapping. Finished packs can also be transferred to optional downstream case packing equipment. Available configurations depend on the cookie characteristics and project requirements.
One machine may handle different cookie dimensions within its supported adjustment range. Changing product sizes can require adjustments to conveyor guides, feeding intervals, film width, bag length and sealing settings. Larger differences in product shape or arrangement may require additional components.
Cookies should reach a suitable packaging temperature before wrapping. Excess heat or residual moisture can contribute to condensation inside the package and affect product quality. Cooling requirements depend on the recipe, cookie characteristics, packaging material and intended storage conditions.
An automatic cookie packaging line can be designed to connect with upstream cooling or production conveyors when the equipment interfaces are compatible. Conveyor height, product orientation, transfer method, production output and available factory space must be considered when planning the feeding and wrapping system.
Actual output depends on cookie size, feeding consistency, product quantity per pack, grouping or tray-loading requirements and wrapping conditions. In an integrated packaging line, the slowest connected stage limits the final output. The required capacity should be specified in finished packs per minute and confirmed against the proposed equipment configuration.
Please provide cookie photos or videos, product dimensions, thickness, weight, packaging format, quantity per pack and target output. Information about product fragility, packaging film, existing production conveyors, available floor space and any required grouping, tray loading or case packing functions will help determine the suitable machine configuration.
Tell us what you pack, your preferred packaging format and your target output. We can review the requirements and discuss suitable equipment and line configurations.
